Welcome to bridges to justice. This blog is created in order to provide a forum for students at colleges and universities to share with one another initiatives and programs that already exist in addressing matters of social justice. It is also a place where resources are available to inspire others to get involved. You can also learn more about Catholic Social Justice Teachings by clicking on the tabs at the top of this page — and we encourage you to do so!
You are also encouraged to write about your experiences working in areas of social justice. This is a place created for your ideas, your stories and your questions. Sir Issac Newton said, “If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants.” This is your opportunity to stand on the shoulders of giants. What you have received is a gift. You will not be able to accomplish all that is in heart by yourself; rather, as a community you must be leaven for the world. Use this tool for that purpose. It is now in your hands. . . .
